About Vega Photography

 Adam Harvey

Hi there. Thanks for taking the time to view my website. Let me introduce myself - I am Adam Harvey, a photographer based in south-east of England although I am happy to travel nationally, and depending on the situation, Internationally.

I hope my website helps convey to you the standard of work I produce and that you would like to work with me in the future. Please feel free to get in contact should you have any questions, or would like to work with me. I look forward to connecting with you soon.

My Photography Background
You could say that photography is in my blood. I grew up in a house full of cameras, lenses, flash guns, and more as my Dad was a photographer for nearly 50 years. After outgrowing my use as a child 'model' I soon had my own camera, all be it very basic one, and so my journey began. Kind of.
In the early days, it was very much a mixture of playing around and occasionally trying to emulate, in my eyes, what Dad was doing. But as I got older my attention soon strayed from photography and settled on sport and music. It wouldn't be until my mid 20's that photography would resurface in my life and start to take hold.

Vega Photography Background

Vega Photography was created in August 2017 by myself & my father, Keith. Unfortunately the partnership was short lived as Dad passed away a few short months later in November 2017. Following his passing, & a lot of thinking, I decided to carry on Vega Photography & stride forward with even more determination than before. The passion he had for Photography throughout his life inspires me every time I even think about a picking up my camera, & it is a passion that is now very much within me.

Although we are still early in the life of Vega Photography I am very excited for where I can take it, with plenty of ideas & opportunities on horizon.

My Background
Away from photography, but still very much in a creative field a big part of my background story lies in music. I've played Piano and Guitar since my early/mid teens & have performed in numerous bands (still do occasionally), studied music at college, been a private guitar teacher, worked for a musical instrument retailer, and regularly go to gigs. So it probably comes as no surprise that I love to bring 2 of my biggest passions together and capture live performances and work with bands/artists.

My Goal

My Goal is pretty simple, to take great photographs. But beyond that I want to leave my clients with something that means something much more to them, be it an immortalised reminder of their special day, or an image that captures their product in its best light allowing them to achieve their own goals.

The buzz I get from seeing the faces of my clients when they review the photos I have captured of or for them is incredible.
